Ana Dine is a legal trainee in the district of the Higher Regional Court of Düsseldorf, with the Regional Court of Krefeld as her home court. She completed her administrative placement at the Ministry of Labour, Health and Social Affairs in Düsseldorf. Since August 2026 she has been doing her law firm placement at ITMR.

She studied at Bielefeld University, where she passed the first state law examination. As part of her university specialisation she deepened her knowledge of criminal law and, in the related seminar paper, examined the legal issues of women's imprisonment. Alongside her law degree she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Management. Her bachelor's thesis dealt with the (partial) gratuitousness of exchange transactions under insolvency law.

Even before starting her studies, Ms Dine was interested in media law and journalism. She worked as an intern at the ZDF regional studio in Hanover and at Radio Westfalica. Her tasks included in particular attending court hearings and preparing the findings for journalistic use. After the first state law examination, Ms Dine completed an internship at a university in Tirana. There she helped draft the university's privacy policy (more on this: GDPR for websites) and was able to apply her knowledge of European law. Alongside her traineeship she works at an IT start-up. There she drafts data processing agreements and non-disclosure agreements and deals with legal questions relating to software development contracts and IT compliance. In addition, she volunteers in the field of women's imprisonment.

Ana Dine is a research assistant at ITMR Rechtsanwälte PartGmbB, the law firm for IT law and media law based at Schirmerstraße 80 in Düsseldorf. During her law firm placement she works with the firm's team on mandates in IT law, data protection law, software development contracts, IT compliance, trade secret protection and media law. Clients are advised and represented by ITMR's lawyers.
