After finishing school, Marianna Voutichti took a gap year with stays in the USA and various European countries.
She then studied law at Johann Wolfgang Goethe University Frankfurt am Main. After successfully passing the second state examination, she earned a postgraduate Master of Laws (LL.M.) in media and copyright law at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz.
At the same time she completed the specialist lawyer course in media law there, including the law of electronic media, copyright law and title protection. She deepened her international academic training in the Postgraduate Laws Programme at the University of London, focusing on intellectual property and copyright.
Marianna Voutichti earned her doctorate in law (Dr. jur.) at Friedrich Schiller University Jena. Her dissertation, entitled “Privacy vs. Freedom of Expression – the Case Law of ECtHR, BVerfG and BGH between Private Life, Legitimate Interest in Information and Sensationalism”, deals with the tension between the protection of personality and freedom of expression and of the press in the national and European context.
Beyond her legal work, she is interested in the performing arts and the media landscape, including its cultural and entertainment dimensions, and leads an active lifestyle.
Since 2026 she has been working for us as a freelancer.
